This Weeks Pick: Eden of The East

Eden of the East is this weeks anime pick. I recently finished this 11 part series, which includes 2 movies. The story begins strong with a young Saki Morimi on a class trip in America. Her whole world changes after meeting our protagonist Akira Takizawa- naked ,amnesic, brandishing a strange cellphone and a gun ,standing in front of the White House. The two trav-el back to Japan and begin to discover out about Takizawa's strange past.
I enjoyed this anime because of it's building suspense the keeps you watching till the end. beginning. There is a light love story between the two main characters which is layered on top of a secret agent thriller along with terrorist attacks. Also the anime mentions several American movies at points. I don't want to give away too much of the plot..
